Kingfisher Apartments

Most days begin right outside the apartments.

Kingfisher sits between Parque de la Paloma and the seafront in Benalmádena Costa. Beaches, cafés, everyday shops and several attractions are straightforward on foot, while Puerto Marina is an enjoyable promenade walk or short ride away.

For journeys uphill or further along the coast, use the taxi rank in the Benal Beach area, the nearby bus stops around Selwo Marina and Bil Bil, or the C1 train from Benalmádena-Arroyo de la Miel.

The railway station is inland and uphill from Kingfisher. The C1 is excellent once you reach it, but it is better described as a connection than as a station at the apartments. For wider Andalucía, change at Málaga María Zambrano for regional and high-speed trains.

Car hire

A car is useful for mountain villages, flexible road trips and destinations away from rail. It is rarely necessary for a beach-and-attractions stay, and parking can be limited in busy periods.

Longer stays

Is the train station at Benal Beach?

No. Benalmádena-Arroyo de la Miel station is inland and uphill from Kingfisher, so allow for the connection to and from the apartments.

Where are the nearest buses?

Useful coastal stops are around Selwo Marina and Bil Bil, close to Benal Beach. Check the Málaga transport consortium for the best current stop, direction and time.

Can Kingfisher arrange a taxi?

Yes, our team can help with suitable local taxi enquiries. For time-critical journeys, contact us in advance and wait for confirmation.
